Should persecuted Christians engage in self-defense?

How do you tell the difference between those times when it is best to allow yourself to be beaten or abused for the sake of the Gospel and those times when it is best to stand up for yourself or for your family?

When is it just to go to war?

Those of us living in the West are protected by some of the most powerful militaries and police forces in the history of the world.

Yet when we think about persecuted Christians around the world, we can’t even seem to imagine that defending family and property could possibly be the right thing to do.

As a civilization-building missionary and Bible teacher, I want to dive in with others to contemplate and learn about these things – all for the purpose of preparing to teach them!

That is why I am going – in just a little more than a week – to the Holy Wars Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

You can learn more about that conference here: https://holywars.win (wanna come?)

In order to pull this off, the goal is to raise $2,800 to $3,000 in the next 10 days (as of September 18, 2026).

Will you join me with a gift of $100, $200, or $300?

Your gift is fully tax-deductible and will help me to get to the conference and have a place to stay and food to eat and the like.

I need some folks to come alongside me and believe with me that I need to be there.

For the past 34 years, friends and family who live all over the country (and even the world!) have continually been super generous towards my mission endeavors.

Thank you!

I am blessed and grateful.

Will you make the most generous gift that you can today?

If you have any questions at all, please contact me – I’d love to talk with you!

Be Super Blessed!

In Christ,

Jon Davis Jr.
Holy Warrior Guy

P.S. Most of the time, these fundraisers succeed with the help of several individuals, families, or businesses that make larger donations such as $750 or $1,000 or even $2,000!

On some occasions, somebody just up and pays for the WHOLE THING!

I am always pleasantly surprised by WHO it is that God leads to do this stuff! Is that you this time?
